Reg Powell originally formed Powell Masonry in 1957. Reg served his apprentiship as a stonemason in Liverpool. He worked on both Cathedrals along with numerous other prestigious buildings in Liverpool, Oxford and Glasgow and across the UK.
Craig and Neil Powell, sons of Reg Powell both joined the company in 1984, completing their apprentiship in stone masonry, which included attending the Stone Masonry College in Bath.
Craig Powell also attended Wigan College of Technology and gained an ONC and HNC certificate in construction. Craig Powell became a director of the company in 1995 and Allison Powell became a director in 1998.
Reg Powell retired in 2001, since this time he has continued to consult on projects, drawing on his vast knowledge of the masonry trade. We moved to our new premises in 2006 at Bradley Hall Trading estate in Standish.
We continue to provide high quality workmanship to all our customers.
